| Gesso (jesso) is a mixture of plaster and glue or size, used in sculptures and as a background for paintings. This beautiful cabinet has employed the same style of painting in its hand painted Topiary designed to complete its striking oval shape. The two split doors open to reveal the center drawer within this console cabinet. This cabinet additional feature includes; a scalloped triple ogee edged top, along its leaf carved top apron and turned bun feet. Finalized in a faux parchment and linen detail with hand painted topiary framed in a beaded arch and generous bun feet. |
